Let me introduce myself
My name is Belinda.
Animals have always been a passion for me since I was a little girl, as far back as I can remember I have always wanted to be a veterinary nurse. As soon as I was able to I started my Tafe courses to become a qualified veterinary nurse. I graduated in 2006 but have been working in the animal industry since 2004, I started off at the RSPCA as a trainee nurse, after many years with the RSPCA I then went on to work with kangaroos, and then back into small animal clinics.
I love spending time with my husband and our three children. Our furry family includes our crazy Odin (whippet x), Cricket (DSH) - our bossy cat! and the most recent addition Douglas (Rottweiler) .
How did Woof 'n' Whiskers start? I was asked to care for a clients pet while they were away as they were not overly happy about putting their pet into a kennel, I had had the opportunity to pet mind for client’s dogs in the past through the various veterinary clinics I had worked at, I enjoyed it so much that when the opportunity arose for me to start my own business I jumped on it. Soon after I decided to offer my services out to all my family and friends and it grew from there.
